Learning about Falun Dafa

From left to right: First, Second, Fifth, Third and Fourth Dafa Exercises

FALUN DAFA is a high level form of cultivation practice with two components: The cultivation component involves embracing Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The practice component includes four gentle, standing exercises, along with a peaceful sitting meditation.

HOW TO LEARN:  Beginners are encouraged to read Zhuan Falun, the primary text of the practice. New students and veteran practitioners alike cultivate their moral character by applying the teachings in Zhuan Falun in their daily lives. Dafa practitioners can introduce newcomers to the practice by teaching them the exercises. The exercises and meditation can be done by persons of any age, fitness level, or background; they can be done for just a few minutes at a time, any time or anywhere, or as long as a few hours if one so chooses. They are taught for free by volunteers or they can be learned by going online:

Falun Dafa,  also known as Falun Gong, is a spiritual practice that espouses the core tenets of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. The practice’s most visible aspects are its five gentle exercises, including a meditation.
